Fostering Self Reliance


WORK FIRST
Provides Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients with a connection to the labor market resulting in case closure due to income.


NON-CUSTODIAL PARENT
Provides eligible participants with employment-related services, training, & supportive services to obtain employment in order to pay child support obligations. Eligibility: Non Custidial Parent must be unemployed, underemployed (working less than 40 hours per week), or having difficulty paying his/her child support obligations.


NON-CASH RECIPIENT
Provides job search assistance, education/training activities, & supportive services to eligilble participants who volunteer for the program. The goal is to assist participants in advancement in their current employment or finding a job with greater earning potential. Non-cash recipients are defined as those families that are recieving child day care, food stamps, or medicaid. The ultimate goal of the program is to increase earning to the point of financial independence.


FOOD ASSISTANCE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING
Provides assistance to Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents to obtain, maintain, and/or regain their food stamp eligibility by participating in a qualifying work program or training activity to obtain & retain unsubsidized employment.
